We make student life a little
more pleasant.
The CS student association represents all CS students at the University of Stuttgart. We’re volunteer-run and always approachable.
Three things that matter to us.
Open to everyone
Whether you're in your first semester or finishing your master's, whatever your background — you're welcome. We're an open group. Just come by.
Practical help
We don't over-promise. What we can do, we do well: collect past exams, answer questions, lend equipment, welcome freshmen.
Speak up where it counts
We sit on the faculty council, study committee and exam board — and bring your feedback there. If something bugs you about your studies: tell us.
Who does what?
We organise things in smaller groups. Pick what interests you — switching or being active in multiple is totally normal.
Archiving and managing past exams and memory protocols.
Organisation of the freshmen orientation.
Organisation of the freshmen weekend.
Organisation of the programming (formerly Java) prep course.
Organisation of the Logic and Discrete Structures (formerly Theoretical Computer Science I) prep course.
Public relations / external communication of the student association and standard emails.
Administration of the departmental student association IT.
Maintenance and development of the student association website. (That's us (・ω・)ノ)
Redesign and renovation of the student association room.
Management and rental of lockers in the building.
Maintenance and operation of our 3D printers, plus handling student print requests.
