Past Exams Archive & Exam Info

In order to receive copies, please visit us in our room and ask for previous exams of your module

Thorough preparation is key to passing your university exams. To support you, the Computer Science Student Association (FIUS) has maintained an extensive archive of past exams and memory protocols for many years.

The Digital Exam Archive

Our digital archive contains documents for many mandatory and elective modules in the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs for Computer Science, Software Engineering, Media Informatics, and Data Science.

  • Access: Since these materials are exam-related and copyrighted, you must drop by the student association room, where we will provide a QR code to download them.
  • Structure: Exams are clearly categorized by module name, examiner, and semester.

Submitting Memory Protocols (Get Involved!)

Our archive relies on student contributions! If you have just taken an exam (especially oral exams or niche elective modules), we would highly appreciate it if you write a short memory protocol (“Gedächtnisprotokoll”).

  • How to submit: You can hand in your protocol in person or email it to us at fs@fius.de.
  • What to include: The following information is particularly helpful:
    • Name of the lecture(s)
    • Type of exam (written, oral, retake, specialization, etc.)
    • Examiner name and date
    • Duration of the exam (How much time did you have?)
    • Exam process (Could you choose a topic? What questions were asked? What did you answer and was it right/wrong? How did they react to wrong answers?)
    • General exam atmosphere
